Her fear exacerbated
Her pain amplified
Her anxiety rocketed
There was anger in her yes
Pain in her crackling voice
She wanted to see hope
But she only could speak of fear
She prayed for the voices to stop
Blood seeped through her eyes
Her pores grew wider and wider
Turmoil began to make its way through
She wanted to live
She wanted to love
She wanted to laugh
But all her existence was wrath and affliction
With writing comes exposure
And with exposure comes vulnerability…
Ecclesiastes 10:4
“If the anger of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your place, for calmness will lay great offenses to rest.”
