Just like the bird in the cage
Cozy but lonely
Fed but hungry
Safe but not satisfied
I can see that tranquil sight
But I cannot feel it
I can spread my wings
But I cannot fly
Breathing but yet suffocating
Suffocating but yet somehow, still breathing
Cheeping a loud song
But only I truly know the melody which it holds
My claws cling to steel
Those were the days were they clung onto timber
I am a hunter
I do not need your spoon-fed food
One day those doors will re-open
One day the wings I was born with will continue to do the job they were designed for
I am a bird
Small wings
Towards a big destination
